Chapter properties are small on purpose — seventeen rooms at Lakeside. For a Forum retreat, that isn't a limitation. It's the offer.

Seventeen rooms on the shore of Rudrasagar Lake. A lake-view swimming pool with a poolside bar. Cassette Kitchen & Bar as the place everything happens. Boat transfers, because when the hotel is on a lake, arriving by water is the correct way to arrive. The palace is the backdrop from the pool and from select rooms — you wake to it, which is the line we use and the line we mean.

It opens later in 2026, and bookings are open now.

Chapter I

No stranger at breakfast.

Once the place is yours, we stop asking what time the bar closes.

You've run enough retreats to know the venue is either invisible or it's the story. Nobody has ever come home from a retreat and raved about a conference package.

So: Chapter properties are small. Deliberately, permanently small. For your Forum of eight or ten, you take the entire hotel. No other guests. No wedding party in the lobby. Confidentiality stops being a clause in a contract and becomes the actual building.
 

We know what a Forum is — we've hosted EO and YPO groups, and we've been in the room ourselves. We'll stay out of yours. Everywhere else, we'd like to get involved: the food, the music, the boat you didn't know you needed at dusk.

Each Chapter is built around the animal that belongs to its state — the spectacled langur in Tripura, the hill myna in Meghalaya — in local material, by local hands. Navy, orange, three stripes, running through everything from the signage to the staff.

Chapter II

Cassette, and the night your Forum will never shut up about.

Ten people, one bar, nobody else in the building. You know what happens next.

Cassette is our kitchen and bar, built bespoke for every property — not a theme on a wall, but the reason the room has a pulse at midnight. Give us the buyout and we'll build the night around your group: live band, a bar list that goes somewhere, vinyl if that's your Forum's particular sickness, or your own playlist through the room if it isn't.

Chapter III

Chapter Lakeside

Rudrasagar Lake, Tripura

Looking straight at Neermahal — a water palace standing in the middle of a lake, which almost nobody in your Forum has heard of, which is precisely the point. Arrive by boat at dusk.

Eat Tripuri food that has no equivalent anywhere else: mui borok, berma, chakhwi, Queen pineapple that ruins you for the supermarket kind. Run your session on the water in the morning and let dinner go long.

Chapter Upper Shillong

A pool set in paddy fields, a 5,000 sq ft lawn, pines, and weather with a personality. The quiet side of the hill, with the music town twenty minutes below.

Monsoon here isn't the off-season — it's the reason to come.
